LNTA would like to thank and recognize Iris Ham for her 30 years of outstanding service as an Adult League Coordinator. Iris first began her career as the Coordinator for the Charlotte City League. In 1998, she was incorporated into the newly-formed Lake Norman Tennis Association. Under her leadership, the adult league programs and numbers of players have grown considerably. Iris manages the USTA Spring Adult, USTA Mixed Doubles, USTA Tri-Level, USTA Summer Singles, Southern Combo, Winter Racquets & Jackets, and Winter Flex Singles Leagues, so she is hard at work year-round. She has established strong relationships with facilities and captains while organizing matches. She goes above and beyond to help players at all levels and divisions–from new players first entering USTA league to experienced players whose teams advance to Sectionals and Nationals. Iris has twice been recognized at the State and Sectional level as Adult League Coordinator of the Year. We are lucky to have her as the force behind our adult leagues!
