The Combo Doubles League is one of the fastest growing USTA adult programs in the Southern Section. Men’s & Women’s teams play 3 courts of doubles. Teams may have 6 players minimum, or 15 maximum, in leagues ranging from 2.5 to 10.5 skill levels.
Players & their partners use a combined NTRP rating that does not exceed the level of their league. For example, on a 7.5 team, a 4.0 player may play with a partner who has a 3.5 (or lower) rating. This format provides a chance to play with partners of different rating levels.
Teams compete locally to progress from local play to State & Sectional Championships!
NTRP Ratings Info
This league uses the NTRP rating system. Each player must have either a computer rating or must be self – rated.
- If you’re not sure what your rating is, you can find it through Tennislink.
- If you don’t have a rating, you can complete the ‘self – rate’ process found there.
Age Groups Offered
A player may play in a particular age group, as long as he / she turns the minimum age designation during the calendar year of registration.
- 18 & Over
- 40 & Over
- 55 & Over
- 65 & Over
*All players must be 18 years or older to play in the Adult leagues.
All players participating in USTA League are required to be USTA members. Click here to create a USTA account. League fees for all USTA League play are $29.15 ($20 Local League fee + $6 State Head Tax and a $3.15 TennisLink fee for a total of $29.15).
Refund Procedure – All players requesting a refund of their Local Fees and State Head Tax charges will be given a refund when requesting prior to their team’s first scheduled team match. The $3 Tennislink fee is nonrefundable. Request should be submitted to the Local League Coordinator.
